Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Tart Apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Butter, softened
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, if butter is unsalted
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions

When you cut the apples, put them in a baking dish and toss with the lemon juice. With a pastry blender or your fingertips, combine the flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon and salt. Spread the mixture over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 1/2 hour.
