Cheese Straws

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Pound Crisco
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Pound Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

Cream the crisco with the eggs. Mix in the dry ingredients. Add the cheese. Roll out the dough and cut in strips about 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
