Cooked Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 Small Head Cabbage, ground
- 1 Cup White Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
- Salt, to taste
- 2 Cups Water
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Put the cabbage, sugar and mustard in a pot. Combine the water and vinegar and pour over the cabbage. Add the butter. Cover and cook slowly until the liquid is almost evaporated. Add more liquid if necessary, while cooking. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
