Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Salami, chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Pepper, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • 6 Eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 Cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 Tomato, seeded and diced
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

Resift the flour with the salt, baking powder and sugar. Beat the egg yolks well and add the butter and milk, mixing well. Make a hole in the center of the sifted ingredients and pour in the liquid ingredients. Combine them with a few swift strokes. The batter should have a pebbled look. Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold the egg whites into the batter until they are barely blended.
