Chicken a La King

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 4 Tablespoons Flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Salt
- 1 and 1/2 Cups Whole Milk
- 2 Cups Chicken, poached and cubed
- 1 Box Frozen Peas
- 1 Cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- Few Grains Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Cup Chicken Stock or Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Pimento, cut in small pieces
Instructions
Melt the butter in a medium to large saucepan. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Add the flour mixed with all the seasonings. Cook 5 minutes. Add the milk and chicken stock slowly, stirring well as you add it. Add the chicken, peas, parsley and pimento and cook till heated. Serve over rice.
