German Spaetzle

Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 3/4 Cup Flour, sifted
Instructions
Beat egg with salt and water. Add flour and stir until smooth. Let the batter sit for about 1/2 hour before boiling. In a pot of boiling water drop teaspoons of the dough. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. The spaetzle are done when they rise to the top of the water.
