Hungarian Veal Chops
Ingredients
- 6 Loin Veal Chops
- Butter
- 1/2 Pound Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
- Cayenne Pepper, to taste
- Seasoned Flour
- 1 Medium Onion, sliced in strips
- 1 Can Chicken Broth
- Sweet Paprika, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
Dredge the chops in the seasoned flour. Brown both sides in melted butter. Remove to a plate. Add the onion and mushrooms and 1/2 to 1 cup of the seasoned flour and brown. Return the chops to the pan and add the chicken broth to cover the meat. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Season the sauce with the paprika, cayenne pepper and salt to taste. Just before serving add the sour cream.
