Stew
Ingredients
- 3 Pounds Beef Stew Meat
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 4 Cups Cold Water
- Potatoes, peeled, cut in half
- Salt
- Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Paprika
- Carrots, peeled
- Fresh Green Beans, cleaned
Instructions
Brown the meat in butter. Add salt and the flour and cover pan. Let meat continue browning another 10 minutes. Add the paprika and 4 cups cold water. Cover and cook on low heat for an hour. Cut the carrots in 2 or 3 pieces. Add the carrots, potatoes and green beans. Cook for another hour.

Either buy beef already cut up as stew meat or buy a roast like chuck or english and cut into 1 inch cubes.
Buy enough vegetables to feed whoever will be eating.
